  1. Constipation is one of those issues most people don’t talk about, but it affects so many of us — and not just because of diet. I’ve learned that hydration, gut health, and even stress play a huge role. 💧🧠

What helped me most were natural fixes: starting the day with lemon water, adding olive oil on an empty stomach, and getting more fermented foods like sauerkraut. It’s amazing how much better your whole body feels when your digestion is working right.

I’ve been sharing natural remedies (with a little help from Nonna Tina, my Italian grandma avatar!) over on my channel — if you’re curious about old-school fixes that still work today, feel free to take a look!😊

  2. This is helpful! Can you recommend a digestive enzyme product please. I do drink some acv in my water sometimes because I heard that can help your digestion but I’ve been having a lot of indigestion from meat, like steak or chicken. I do drink kefir milk too and neither of these 2 things help enough with my digestion. Thanks for your informative video. (:

  3. Hi Taylor. Thanks for the helpful information! A few years back, my gastroenterologist recommended I take probiotics. They really helped me feel better. Recently, I mentioned to a friend that I don’t eat anything before going anywhere, because I get diarrhea. They recommended digestive enzymes. I took it after a healthy meal, and a couple of hours later, I got diarrhea. I think I just have a sensitive stomach and don’t tolerate some foods well, but even a glass of purified water will give me diarrhea if taken at the wrong time. My gastroenterologist tested me for C. diff a few years ago, and it came back positive. I had to take a course of antibiotics for it. I still had some diarrhea afterward, so she ran the test again one or two more times, but it came back negative. That’s when she told me to get some good probiotics. So I went to a couple of health food stores, and they both recommended the same one, which is the one I take. I think I’ll save the digestive enzyme for when I need a laxative, because it wasn’t as harsh.

Oh, one more thing. I had my gallbladder out around the same time. I thought I was getting diarrhea because of the bad gallbladder, but it turned out to be C. diff. I think now that I no longer have a gallbladder, it may contribute to my upset stomach. I realize the gallbladder is very important, but mine was loaded with gallstones, and one of the stones got stuck in a duct that goes to my liver. I had signs of liver disease and had to go to a gastroenterology surgeon to have the stone removed, a stint was put in to keep it from happening again, and he took out the stint a week before I had my gallbladder taken out.
